Any small pasta, such as ptitim or orzo, works well for this salad. Combine it with blanched lima beans, herbs, dressing, and grated Parmesan cheese for a delicious, filling, and juicy side dish. Serve warm.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 220 g of small pasta
  • 1.5 cups lima beans
  • 1 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3/4 tbsp. grated parmesan

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Cook 220g of small pasta according to package instructions, adding 1.5 cups of defrosted lima beans one minute before cooking.
  2. Drain the pasta and toss with 1 cup chopped parsley, 1 bunch chopped green onions, 1/4 cup olive oil, 3/4 cup grated Parmesan, 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
