Neapolitan ice cream is a combination of three of the most popular ice cream flavors: strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla. Sandwich a scoop of this tri-color delicacy between two slices of soft pound cake, drizzle with chocolate, whipped cream, sprinkle with nuts, and enjoy the perfect combination of flavors. And when the ice cream melts slightly and begins to soak into the sponge cake, this pastry will be even more delicious than cake!

Prepare sandwiches by dividing the portions Neapolitan ice cream into a thin slice pound cake, top with another slice of cake. Trim the sides so the ice cream is flush with the cake. Place the sandwiches on a plate and drizzle 2 tablespoons of melted dark chocolate over them, letting it drip down the sides. Freeze. Serve with whipped cream and crushed pistachios.
