A delicate mocha-flavored mousse: espresso, milk, and chocolate, topped with a soft, airy foam. This mousse is quick to make using instant chocolate pudding. Mix it with coffee, milk, and whipped cream. Serve the mousse in beautiful clear glasses and enjoy its elegant appearance and refined flavor. A perfect, light dessert for both a holiday table and a weekday dinner.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 110 g instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1/4 cup strong coffee or espresso, chilled
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips, for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mix, milk, and coffee until thickened. In another large bowl, beat the heavy cream with the sugar and vanilla using a mixer until soft peaks form. Set aside 1/4 cup of the whipped cream for serving.
  2. Stir a third of the whipped cream into the pudding to lighten its color. Then gently fold the remaining whipped cream into the pudding. Spoon the mousse into dessert glasses and refrigerate until ready to serve. The mousse can be made up to 4 hours in advance. When ready to serve, add a small dollop of whipped cream to each glass and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
