This simple recipe for dark chocolate lovers will help you create a delicate mousse with a rich aroma and delicious taste. This dessert will delight you and your loved ones, and will be a perfect ending to a festive dinner.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 350 gr. soft tofu, drain the liquid
  • 85 g dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • 0.25 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.25 cups of water
  • 1 tbsp brandy
  • 0.5 cup plus 0.5 teaspoon fine sugar
  • 0.25 cups heavy cream
  • 1.25 tsp chocolate chips

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Puree the tofu in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  2. Combine the chopped chocolate, cocoa powder, 0.25 cups of water, and brandy in a saucepan or heatproof bowl and place over a double boiler. Heat, stirring frequently, until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Add 0.5 cups of sugar a little at a time and stir until smooth.

  3. Add the chocolate mixture to the tofu and blend until smooth. Spoon the mousse into serving bowls, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Whip the cream with a whisk. When the cream is almost completely whipped, add the remaining 0.5 teaspoon of sugar and finish whipping. Garnish each serving with a dollop of whipped cream and chocolate shavings, and serve.
