The easiest recipe for delicious scones. These rolls are quick to mix and bake—perfect for a sudden craving for delicious homemade baked goods. For the dough, you'll need heavy cream, chilled butter, flour, grainy and dry mustard, and cheddar cheese. Once everything is mixed, simply mound the dough onto a baking sheet and bake. The scones are crispy on the outside, soft and cheesy on the inside, and filled with a wonderful creamy mustard flavor.

Recipe:

In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups flour, 1 tablespoon each baking powder and sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon each mustard powder and coarse salt. Stir in 3/4 cup grated Cheddar. With a pastry cutter, cut in 6 tablespoons diced chilled butter until the mixture forms pea-sized pieces; stir in 1 cup heavy cream mixed with 3 tablespoons grainy mustard. Place 8 equal mounds of dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet; grease with additional cream. Bake at 425°F (220°C) until golden brown, 20 to 25 minutes.
