These brownies are made with store-bought brownie mix, but just a few touches—espresso powder and granulated peanut butter—will make your dessert unique. Add both ingredients to the batter and bake the brownies in a small square pan. Once cool, cut into squares. The brownies are deliciously dense on the outside and moist on the inside, with a rich chocolate-coffee flavor that gives way to peanut butter chunks. A sprinkle of coarse salt (just a pinch!) adds even more flavor. A perfect quick treat!

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 20 x 20 cm (8 x 8 in) baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine 1/3 cup water, vegetable oil, egg, and espresso powder. Add the brownie mix and mix until smooth. Fold in the peanut butter chunks. Transfer the batter to the prepared pan. Sprinkle evenly with coarse salt. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownie comes out with a few moist crumbs, 35-40 minutes.
- Cool completely, then cut into squares. Place the cakes on a platter and serve.
