A simple, vibrant, and delicious treat for a holiday or just to lift the spirits. These candies can be topped with a variety of toppings, so the chances of not finding a favorite combination are minimal. Even without the toppings, the truffles are still quite tasty, though perhaps not as vibrant.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Using a mixer, beat the powdered sugar, peanut butter, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Roll portions of the mixture (1 heaping teaspoon) into balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Roll the peanut butter balls in any or all of the toppings. Freeze until firm, about 20 minutes. These truffles are best served very chilled.
