These healthy candies are high in fiber and protein, and to make them even more delicious and more like real truffles, you can roll them in freeze-dried banana powder or cocoa powder. No need to wait for them to set in the refrigerator. Just roll them into balls and enjoy. A great snack to take to school or on the go.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Combine the cereal, peanut butter, maple syrup, cherries, and 1 tablespoon of water in a food processor and pulse until the mixture is finely chopped and forms a large ball. Roll into a small ball; if it seems too dry and crumbly, add another 1 tablespoon of water.
  2. Take 1 heaping tablespoon of the mixture, roll it into a smooth ball, and repeat with the remaining mixture. Wet your hands slightly with water to make it easier to work with.

  3. If you are using freeze-dried bananas, blend them in a food processor until finely ground. Place them in a small bowl. Roll each truffle in the banana powder to coat completely. Store candies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days..

If you use cocoa powder, pour it into a small bowl and roll each candy to coat completely.
