This super-simple dessert made with peanut butter, chocolate, and cookies is a great way to satisfy the sweet tooth in your family! Peanut butter bars require no baking and are perfect for storing in the fridge for snacking after breakfast or throughout the day.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Filling

  • 220g softened butter + extra for greasing the pan
  • 1 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 box (340 g) of vanilla wafer cookies
  • 1 bag (340 g) semi-sweet chocolate mini granules
  • Special equipment: form size 22x32 cm.

Glaze

  • 2 tbsp. semi-sweet chocolate granules
  • 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 cup chopped peanuts

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Grease a 22x32cm springform pan with a little butter.
  2. Filling:

    Using a mixer, beat the butter and peanut butter until smooth. Add the sugar, 1 cup at a time. Place the vanilla wafers in a food processor and process until finely ground. Then fold the crumbs and mini chocolate chips into the peanut butter mixture. Pour the mixture into the pan, spread it out evenly, and set aside.

  3. Glaze:

    Melt the chocolate and creamy peanut butter in a double boiler or microwave. Let cool for a couple of minutes, then pour the glaze over the crust. Spread the glaze evenly and sprinkle with chopped peanuts. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, then cut into 20 bars.
