Crunchy cereal and granola make not only delicious, healthy breakfasts but also great desserts that kids love. Mix them with melted marshmallows, peanut butter, and butter, adding nuts and chocolate chips, let them set, and cut into convenient bars.


Ingredients:

  • 300 gr. marshmallow
  • 0.5 cup peanut butter (or other nut butter)
  • 4 cups crispy brown rice cereal (breakfast cereal)
  • 1 cup granola
  • 1 cup chopped almonds
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • In a large saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons butter, 300g marshmallows, and 1/2 cup peanut butter over low heat. Stir in 4 cups brown rice cereal, 1 cup granola, and 1 cup chopped almonds. Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch square pan and press evenly into the pan. Let cool, then cut into bars.
