Celebrate football game day with this chocolate dessert made from American football-shaped breakfast cereal. It's easy to make and even kids can make it. They can help you measure out the ingredients, shape the balls by hand, roll them out, and attach the laces. Older kids can also help stir the hot mixture.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Spray a wooden spoon and a 1/3 cup measuring cup with cooking spray. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray with cooking spray.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt and stir with a prepared wooden spoon until the marshmallows are completely melted, 4–5 minutes. Remove from heat, add the cereal, and stir until evenly coated.
- Using the prepared measuring cup, scoop the mixture into mounds on the prepared baking sheet. Let it cool for a few seconds to make it easier to work with. Spray your hands with cooking spray and press each mound firmly into the shape of an American football. Let it sit at room temperature until it's slightly firm, about 20 minutes.
- Cut the gummies lengthwise into quarters. Roll the pieces into thin ropes and cut them into short and long pieces to make laces for the soccer ball. Place a gummie on top of each soccer ball, pressing down to ensure they adhere. Store at room temperature in a tightly sealed container for up to 3 days.
