No child can resist crunchy sweets, especially when they're homemade. This puffed rice snack is healthier than store-bought bars, as it's filled with dried apricot pieces and seeds, and the melted marshmallow mixture uses agave syrup instead of sugar. It's perfect for taking to school or on the go, and it's also a great snack after a workout.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon light agave syrup
- 4 cups puffed rice
- 1/4 cup diced dried apricots (about 60 g)
- 2 tbsp. flax seeds, ground
- 2 tbsp. roasted peeled sunflower seeds, unsalted

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Spray a large metal bowl with cooking spray and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the marshmallows, butter, agave syrup, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the marshmallows are completely melted, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat, add the puffed rice, and stir to coat.
- Transfer the rice mixture to the prepared bowl and sprinkle with dried apricots, flax seeds, and sunflower seeds. Mix with a wooden spoon or your hands, lightly sprayed with cooking spray. Form into 8 balls (about 0.5 cups each).
- Let set for about 30 minutes, then wrap tightly in parchment paper or plastic wrap.
