When guests arrive before you've prepared the holiday dinner, offer them a snack mix to satiate their hunger and pass the time. This snack plate is like a teaser for the upcoming dinner. It combines the essential ingredients of Thanksgiving treats in the United States: potatoes and sweet potatoes (chips), dried cranberries, nuts, crispy sage leaves, and all this with the flavor of roasted poultry.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 450 g potato chips
  • 0.5 tbsp dry concentrated broth
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup pecans
  • 2 tablespoons sage leaves

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Spread the salted sweet potato chip and salted potato chip mixture on 2 baking sheets and bake at 350°F (175°C) until hot and shiny, 5 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle with turkey gravy powder and poultry seasoning, let sit for a minute, then stir and let cool.

  3. Toss with dried cranberries, toasted pecans, and toasted sage leaves (heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté the leaves until crisp, about 10 seconds).
