This snack mix has it all: peanuts, pistachios, potato chips, pretzels, corn nuts, dried mango, and coconut masala seasoning, which infuses the mix with the flavors of Indian cuisine. Add the dried mango last, once the mixture has cooled completely.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


Masala spice mix

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 teaspoons garam masala spice
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 0.5 tsp ground turmeric

Nuts

  • Vegetable or canola oil to grease the baking sheet
  • Protein of 1 large egg
  • 3 cups unsalted raw pistachios
  • 1 cup unsalted raw peanuts
  • 1 cup mini pretzels
  • 1 cup potato chips
  • 0.5 tbsp. corn nuts
  • 0.5 cup chopped dried mango

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Combine coconut, sugar, garam masala, curry powder, turmeric, if using, and 1.5 teaspoons salt in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 175°C. Lightly grease a rimmed baking sheet with vegetable oil.

  3. Nuts:

    Place the egg white in a large bowl and whisk until foamy. Add the nuts, pretzels, chips, and corn nuts and stir to coat. Add the spice mixture and stir to coat.
  4. Spread the nut mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet and bake, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, 15-20 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheet.
  5. Transfer the nut mixture to a large bowl and stir in the dried mango.
