Cranberry, apple and walnut jam - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 350 g fresh cranberries, washed
  • 1 and 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 green apple, peeled, cored and cut into pieces
  • Grated zest and juice of 1 orange
  • Grated zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Simmer the cranberries with sugar and 1 cup of water in a saucepan over low heat for about 5 minutes, or until the skins burst. Add the apple, citrus zest, and juice and cook for another 15 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the raisins and nuts. Let the cranberry jam cool and serve chilled.
    Exit: 4 tbsp.
