Ingredients:

  • 700 g of green beans
  • 1/3 cup toasted walnuts
  • 0.5 tsp. grated lemon zest
  • /4 cups olive oil
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Place 1/3 cup toasted walnuts, 1 1/4 cups parsley, 1 small crushed garlic clove, 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, and 1/2 teaspoon each grated lemon zest and coarse salt in a food processor. Process. With the processor running, add 1/4 cup olive oil and process until the walnuts are combined and the sauce is finely chopped.

  • Cook 700 grams of green beans in boiling salted water until crisp-tender, 5 minutes. Drain and toss with nut sauce.
