Green beans are a quick side dish that will add flavor and health to any meal. They only need to be cooked for a few minutes to preserve their crunch and vitamins. This basic recipe calls for the beans to be glazed with butter and a pinch of sugar, but you can also add herbs and spices to your liking, and substitute other nuts for the pecans, such as thinly sliced almonds or chopped walnuts.
