This recipe simply describes the best way to grill corn so it turns out soft, juicy, flavorful, and not dry. This is a basic recipe, and you can customize the corn with anything other than just salt. For example, sprinkle the cobs with paprika, brush them with butter, or top them with cheese or any sauce. You can also cut the kernels off the cobs and use them in other dishes, such as salads, baked goods, or snacks.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 8 ears of corn
  • Smoked paprika, for sprinkling (optional)

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Bend the corn husks back and remove the silks (hairs). Sprinkle the corn with salt and smoked paprika, if desired. Close the husks on the cob again.
  2. Grill the corn, turning occasionally, until the husks are charred and the corn is tender, 12 to 15 minutes.

    Note

Roasting corn in its husks helps steam the kernels inside and prevent them from drying out.
