Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to grill mode and position the rack 5 cm from the heating element.
- Toss the beans with olive oil, 3/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Arrange them in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Grill the beans until crisp-tender and charred in spots, about 4 minutes.
