Green beans are an excellent source of fiber, vitamins, and minerals, and to preserve most of their beneficial properties, fresh green beans only need to be cooked for a few minutes. They should soften but still retain their crispness. Butter and salt add a wonderful flavor. They're simple, delicious, and perfect for both everyday use and holiday meals. But why did Trisha Yearwood name these beans "Tom Cruise"? The answer is quite simple: the chef who shared this recipe with her looked just like Tom Cruise!
