The Scorpion is a vibrant tiki cocktail traditionally prepared for a group of several people and served in large, wide bowls garnished with fruit and edible flowers, with multiple straws. It was invented by an American named Trader Vic, who is credited with creating many famous tropical cocktails, including Mai Tai" and one of the options "Zombie"With its exotic appearance and stunningly uplifting effect, the Scorpion is considered the perfect treat for Hawaiian-themed summer parties. It contains rum, brandy, gin, lemon and orange juices, and almond syrup.

Recipe:
Combine 120 ml of blended aged rum, 60 ml of lemon juice, 45 ml each of orange juice and orgeat (almond syrup), and 30 ml each of brandy and gin in a blender. Add 1 cup of crushed ice and blend until completely chilled. Strain into a large shallow glass and add a few ice cubes. Garnish with an edible flower and a lemon wedge. Serve with two straws.
