Even using dry mixes, you can make a unique, delicious cake with character. And it's effortless. Your guests won't even guess you've cheated! The cake will be completely strawberry-flavored, fragrant, and brightly summery. You won't need fresh strawberries, meaning you can enjoy this wonderful flavor all year round. Bake the layers using a dry white sponge mix, adding strawberry jelly mix, and frozen strawberry puree in syrup. The layers will be vibrant and their flavor will be richly berry-flavored. Cover the entire cake with a frosting made from cream cheese whipped with strawberry puree. Garnish with fresh strawberry slices, if desired.
