This cheesy dip is the most delicious you've ever tasted. It's literally loaded with salty bits of fried bacon, crunchy almonds, three types of cheese—Swiss, blue, and sharp cheddar—and green onions. The dip's flavor is truly a million bucks, and it's incredibly quick and easy to make. It's perfect for any occasion, whether it's a friendly get-together or a warm-up for a festive dinner. Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Place the almonds in a dry small frying pan. Toast over medium-low heat until golden brown, shaking the pan occasionally, 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a plate and set aside to cool to room temperature.
- Place the cream cheese and mayonnaise in a large bowl and mix until smooth. Add the three cheeses and mix again to distribute evenly. Add the bacon, toasted almonds, three-quarters of the chopped green onion, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir with a rubber spatula to distribute evenly.
- Transfer to a serving platter, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Sprinkle the dip with the remaining green onions and serve with crackers and tortilla chips.
