Tiramisu from donuts - a detailed recipe.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 12 sponge doughnuts, cut lengthwise
- 450 gr. mascarpone cheese
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar + 1 tbsp for coffee
- 3 tablespoons coffee liqueur
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup cold cream with at least 33% fat content
- 1.5 cups of espresso or strong coffee
- Cocoa powder for decoration

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Mix in a large bowl mascarpone, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, coffee liqueur, vanilla extract and beat with a mixer on medium speed for about 1 minute until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream with 1/4 cup of powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture in three additions. Refrigerate.
- Combine espresso and 1 tablespoon powdered sugar in a shallow bowl. Dip 12 donut halves, one at a time, into the coffee and place them in a 9x13-inch (23x33 cm) rectangular pan.
- Cover a row of donuts with 1/3 of the mascarpone whipped cream. Dip the remaining 12 donut halves in the coffee and arrange them on top of the cream.
Spread the remaining cream on top. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. - Cut the tiramisu into pieces and sprinkle with cocoa powder.
