Brownie-Style Tiramisu - A Detailed Recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 cup (225 g) butter, plus extra for greasing the pan
  • 150 g bittersweet chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 3 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup softened mascarpone cheese
  • 1.25 cups premium flour
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp. thin salted pretzels, crumble lightly
  • Straw for decorating the top

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a baking pan (23 x 33 cm).

    In a medium saucepan, melt the butter with the bittersweet chocolate over low heat, stirring occasionally until smooth. Add the cocoa powder and stir. Remove from heat and let cool for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar and vanilla to the chocolate mixture and mix well. Add the eggs one at a time, then the mascarpone. Gently fold in the flour until it's halfway incorporated into the dough. Add the chocolate chips and mix well.

  3. Spread half the crumbled pretzels in the prepared pan. Pour the dough (it will be very dense!) into the pan over the pretzels. Spread it out, smoothing the top, and sprinkle evenly with the remaining pretzels.
  4. Bake for 40 minutes, then check the brownies for doneness with a toothpick. If the toothpick is too sticky or there's still a lot of batter on it, return the pan to the oven for another 5-10 minutes. Be careful not to burn the edges. Let cool completely (this is important!), then cut into small squares.
