If you love the Italian dessert tiramisu and banana pudding, you'll definitely love this combination. Make a soft pudding and mascarpone cream and pour it over coffee-soaked wafer cookies. Layer on banana slices and repeat the layers. If you can't find the traditional American banana pudding wafer cookies, you can substitute savoiardi sticks, which soak just as easily. The longer the tiramisu sits in the refrigerator, the more tender it will be. This melting dessert will captivate you with its combination of banana, coffee, and cream cheese flavors from the first bite.

Pour half of the hot milk into this mixture and whisk until smooth. It's important to add the milk gradually. Then, stirring constantly, pour everything from the bowl into the saucepan. Then, cover the surface of the pudding with a piece of plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours to cool completely.
- Before assembling the dessert, whisk the cooled pudding vigorously until it becomes slightly thinner.
- In a small bowl, combine espresso and coffee liqueur. Dip into the coffee mixture. wafer cookies for a couple of seconds to soak it up, and place it against the wall of a 3-quart trifle pan.
- Then arrange the soaked cookies in two layers on the bottom of the pan. Top with 2 cups of pudding. Use a small offset spatula to smooth the surface of the pudding. Evenly distribute half of the prepared banana slices. Top with another 2 layers of soaked cookies, 2 cups of pudding, and the remaining bananas.
- Cover the bananas with cookies and pudding once more. Cover the pudding with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, sprinkle the tiramisu with cocoa powder.
