How to Make Croissant Panini

Time: 10 min.
Complexity: easily
Quantity: 1 sandwich

You don't need a special panini press to make delicious paninis at home. Even panini rolls can be replaced with simple croissants. Assemble the sandwiches with ham and cheese and fry them, pressing them down with a small cast-iron skillet or other heavy container.

Recipe:

Cut the croissant in half on the side and spread Dijonnaise (mustard and mayonnaise) on the cut sides. Place 1 slice of Muenster, 1 slice of ham, and 1 more slice of Muenster between the two halves. Brush the outside of the sandwich with butter. Heat a nonstick frying pan over medium-low heat; add the sandwich and press it down with another frying pan. Fry until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
