A hot chocolate spread and hazelnut sandwich is a truly delicious dessert that's easy to make anytime. If you have a jar of Nutella or another chocolate-hazelnut spread and a handful of hazelnuts, consider this dessert ready! Assemble the sandwiches on white bread and toast them in butter until golden brown. You won't need a special sandwich maker for these paninis: simply press the sandwiches down with a spatula while frying. For a more sophisticated touch, simply dust the paninis with powdered sugar on the plate.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Spread 4 slices of challah evenly with the chocolate-hazelnut spread. Sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts. Top with the remaining bread slices to make 4 sandwiches.
  2. Heat a medium skillet over medium-low heat and melt about half the butter. Cook the sandwiches, a few at a time, pressing gently as they cook, until the bread is golden brown, about 3 minutes.
