The basic cookie recipe is enhanced with cocoa, chocolate chips, coconut, and pecans—and you have the delicious taste of German Chocolate Cake! It's incredibly simple, and the cookies are ready in just 30 minutes.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 230 g softened butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large beaten eggs
- 2 and 1/4 cups premium flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp. semi-sweet chocolate granules
- 1 cup sweet coconut flakes
- 1 cup chopped pecans

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 190C. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a stand mixer, or using a large bowl and a hand mixer, beat the butter with both sugars, vanilla extract, and eggs. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold the flour mixture into the butter mixture and beat until smooth. Add the chocolate chips, coconut, and nuts.
- Using a tablespoon, drop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets, 12 cookies per sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
- Culinary advice: If you want to make square cookies, spread the dough in a thin layer in a greased 20x20 cm square pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Once cooled, cut the cookies into squares.
