Cookie dough ice cream has long been a classic; it's hard to beat. But one of America's favorite treats is cookie dough ice cream. Remember how delicious cookie dough was as a kid when mom baked something for you? Now you can "legally" eat it. Treat yourself to divinely delicious cookie dough ice cream with a chocolate cookie crust, caramel sauce, and whipped cream. If you have trouble finding cookie dough ice cream, you can make your own by mixing creamy ice cream with your favorite shortbread cookie dough, omitting the baking powder and eggs, of course.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Line a 22cm square baking dish with two layers of aluminium foil.
  2. In a food processor, puree the sandwich cookies. Transfer them to a medium bowl and mix with the butter. Sprinkle the cookie crumbs into the bottom of the prepared pan and press firmly to form a crust.

  3. Carefully spread the melted ice cream over the entire crust. Pour caramel and top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with grated chocolate. Place the ice cream cake in the freezer for 3 hours.
  4. Cut into cakes and serve.
