Dark chocolate sorbet
Votes: 1

Time: 1 hour 40 min.
This sorbet's rich flavor comes from double chocolate: chocolate syrup made from sugar, cocoa powder, and water, and finely chopped dark chocolate. The two ingredients are blended until smooth, then thoroughly chilled in the refrigerator and frozen in an ice cream maker. To serve the chocolate sorbet, prepare candied kumquats. Their bright citrus flavor pairs beautifully with the dark chocolate. Kumquats can be candied in advance; they keep well in the refrigerator for several weeks.
