Chilled water infused with fresh berries is a wonderful way to refresh yourself on a summer day. The flavor is light and subtle, and the fresh berries enrich the water with vitamins. This recipe uses a combination of blueberries and strawberries, but you can use any seasonal berries or fruits. Let the water steep for at least half an hour and enjoy. Even better, prepare delicious water daily, keep it in the refrigerator, and quench your thirst throughout the day for healthy benefits. 1. Trim the strawberries, set aside 4 whole small berries, and quarter the rest. Add the quartered strawberries to a large pitcher. Set aside 8 blueberries and add the rest to the same pitcher. Cover the berries with cold water and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. Thread one blueberry, then one strawberry, then one more blueberry onto 4 small skewers or toothpicks. Set aside until ready to serve.

  3. Pour the water into four glasses filled with ice. Serve, garnishing each serving with berries on skewers.

The beauty of this water is that it can be made from virtually any seasonal fruit or berry you have on hand. Try water with grapes and oranges, or with peaches and kiwi. Just keep it in the refrigerator at all times.
