Enjoy the subtle combination of orange and fennel in this infused water, rich not only in flavor but also in vitamins and antioxidants. You can make the infused water sparkling or still. After steeping, discard the orange and fennel pieces and add fresh ones before serving. Keep this refreshing water in the refrigerator and enjoy over ice. Perfect for summer.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 liters of seltzer water
  • Fennel root stems and leaves
  • Oranges

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Place 1 thinly sliced ​​orange and the coarsely chopped stems and fronds of one fennel root in a pitcher. Add 2 liters of clean water if you prefer still water. For sparkling water, add 1 liter of seltzer water during preparation and 1 liter just before serving.
  2. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours to allow the ingredients to infuse. Stir well and strain, discarding the remaining orange and fennel. To serve, add fresh fennel and orange slices to the pitcher for garnish, along with plenty of ice. The infused water can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
