Customers at Paula Deen's restaurant, The Lady and Sons, in Georgia, swear by the smoked pork they serve. And with this recipe, anyone can recreate the dish at home. It's incredibly simple to prepare, without the use of a smoker, but the meat is as flavorful as if you were on a barbecue. It's all thanks to the liquid smoke and homemade garlic rub that is applied to a whole pork shoulder before roasting. The finished pork is incredibly juicy and flavorful, with a wonderfully savory crust on the outside. Serve with barbecue sauce and the onions that the pork was roasted on.
