This snack is a worthy alternative to French fries. Polenta slices are fried in butter until golden brown and topped with grated Parmesan and fresh herbs. For this recipe, it's best to use store-bought polenta loaf. Cut it into round slices and then into strips. Enjoy as a snack throughout the day or serve as a side dish with meat or vegetables.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Cut one tube of prepared polenta (500 g) into 1 cm-thick strips, like French fries. Roll the polenta strips, several at a time, in flour.
- Fry in 2.5 cm of vegetable oil preheated to 190°C (375°F) until lightly golden and crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and sprinkle with grated Parmesan and finely chopped mixed herbs. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
