Cuban sandwich - detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 450 g thinly sliced ​​baked pork (see recipe)
  • 450 g thinly sliced ​​smoked ham
  • 4 portioned loaves Cuban bread
  • 225 g of sliced ​​Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sliced ​​pickled cucumbers
  • 4 tbsp (60 g) butter

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat a grill pan. Cut Cuban bread in half lengthwise. Butter each half of the bread. Assemble each sandwich with roast pork, ham, cheese, and pickles.
  2. Place the sandwiches on the hot grill and press them with a cast-iron waffle iron to flatten them. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. Cut in half and serve.
