Cuban Mojito - detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 2 limes, halved (make slits in the peel)
  • 16-22 Cuban or curly mint leaves, halved
  • 90 - 115 ml sugar syrup
  • 225 - 340 ml light rum
  • Carbonated water
  • 4 sticks of sugarcane (optional)

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Prepare a cocktail with a build, that is, directly in the glass: In each glass, mix 1/2 lime, 4-6 mint leaves, 20-30 ml. sugar syrup and mash.

    Fill each glass with ice, then pour in 60-90 ml of rum and shake well. Add a splash of soda water and garnish with a sugar cane stick.
