The Mojito cocktail has long been a symbol of refreshing coolness in the summer heat. It's been spiced up and tweaked in countless ways, yet no one remains indifferent. Make a more tropical take on the traditional Mojito by replacing the soda with coconut water and enjoy its relaxing flavor, which takes on a whole new meaning in this cocktail.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Mojito
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves
- 120 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
- 120 ml sugar syrup, see recipe below
- 480 ml coconut water, chilled
- 250 ml white rum, chilled
- Ice

- 1 cup granulated sugar

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Pour lime juice, sugar syrup, and mint leaves into a pitcher. Mash the mint to release its oils.
- Pour in coconut water and rum. Fill the pitcher with ice, stir, and refrigerate.
Sugar syrupIn a medium saucepan, combine the sugar and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute, until all the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool completely.
