Mojito with sake - a detailed recipe.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 8 fresh perilla (Japanese shiso mint) leaves
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 teaspoon sugar syrup
  • 90 ml of very dry sake
  • 30 ml. fruit wine

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Tear mint leaves (not too small) into a martini shaker. Mash the mint, but not too much so that small pieces remain, just enough to release the flavor and aroma. Squeeze in the lime juice.

    Add a teaspoon of simple syrup. Fill the shaker 2/3 full with ice. Add the sake. Then the wine. Shake vigorously. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice.
