A Reuben is a type of American hot sandwich made with beef and sauerkraut. It was supposedly named after Omaha, Nebraska resident Reuben Kulakofsky, who invented it and served it to his friends during a poker game.
Make it into a miniature slider burger, just about 2 inches in diameter, sandwiching a ground beef meatball and sauerkraut dressed with Thousand Island dressing between two halves of a toasted bun. These burgers are more like canapés, perfect for serving as a hearty appetizer at a party.
