I'd make these sandwiches for my boys so they don't get hungry during practice—American football is quite the exciting pastime. And they forget to put anything in their stomachs. The sandwiches are made from a soft hamburger bun and baked in the oven, which not only melts the cheese and adds a completely different flavor, but also extends the shelf life. All you need is lean beef. This hearty sandwich can be topped with a homemade sauce made with mayonnaise, mustard, and horseradish.
