Sliders are small, bite-sized sandwiches typically served as appetizers at parties. Each slider contains a juicy beef patty, melty cheese, a mayonnaise-ketchup-mustard sauce, a pickle, and a fresh lettuce leaf. Sliders are served on small Hawaiian buns. Their sweet flavor pairs perfectly with the beef patty, making them a favorite among adults and children alike. A slice of grilled pineapple can be added to enhance the flavor of the Hawaiian bun.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Divide the ground beef into 12 portions (approximately 60 grams each). Form each patty into 1 cm thick patties and use your thumb to make an indentation in the center to prevent the patties from puffing up and to help them maintain their shape while frying. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Brush the grill grate or grill pan with vegetable oil. Grill the patties, turning once, until golden brown but still slightly pink on the inside, 2-3 minutes per side. Top each patty with a slice of cheese and grill until melted, about 1 minute.
- Place the sweet buns cut-side up on a cutting board or large serving platter. Spread the bottom halves of each bun with ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. Top with a lettuce leaf and a patty. Place a pickle on each patty and top with the remaining bun tops.
