Buffalo Chicken Sliders

How to Make Buffalo Chicken Sliders
Kitchen:American,
Time: 1 hour.
Complexity: easily
Quantity: 18-24 pcs.

Mini sliders are a fun appetizer and a highlight of any home party, whether it's a board game night or a game night together. They're made with small, bite-sized buns filled with filling and usually held together with a skewer. One of the favorite flavors of these sandwiches is Buffalo, a delicious spicy chicken sandwich topped with blue cheese, fresh vegetables, and ranch dressing. Use boneless chicken thighs for a juicy sandwich.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 0.9 kg skinless and boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup hot sauce
  • 18-24 small buns, buttered and toasted
  • Ranch sauce, for filing
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • Tomato slices, lettuce leaves, for serving
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Heat a 12-inch (30 cm) oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil. Season the chicken thighs on both sides with salt, black pepper, brown sugar, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Place them in the skillet and fry on both sides until golden brown, about 4 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Add hot sauce to the skillet and bring to a simmer, then place in the oven and bake until a thermometer inserted into the chicken registers 160°F (71°C), 12-15 minutes. Let the chicken cool in the skillet, then shred the meat with your fingers. Season with salt to taste, if needed.
  • Step 3
  • Preheat oven to broil. Transfer the pan to the broiler and cook until the meat is crispy on top, about 4 minutes.
  • Step 4
  • Assemble the sandwiches. Place a small amount of chicken on the bottom half of each bun and top with ranch dressing, blue cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce. Top with the top halves of the buns.
