Slider sandwiches are small and perfect for house parties. If you're hosting a large gathering, you can skip the assembly and arrange all the ingredients on individual plates like a bar, like Ree Drummond does, and let guests decorate their burgers with their favorite toppings. This format is often a hit with guests and makes things easier for the hosts.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

Cutlets

  • 900 g of ground beef
  • 4 tbsp heavy whipping cream

Slider sandwiches and mac'n'cheese

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  2. Combine ground beef, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and a pinch of pepper in a bowl. Mix thoroughly with your hands. Form patties with 1/4 cup of the meat mixture. You'll make 16 patties. Make an indentation with your thumb to prevent the patties from puffing up too much while frying.

  3. Grill the sliders until cooked through, 2–3 minutes per side. Remove from the grill and place on a platter.
  4. Toast the halved buns on the grill. Place the patties between the buns and serve immediately.
  5. Sandwiches and mac and cheese:

Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium-high heat until lightly crisp, about 8 minutes. Remove and cut into small pieces.
  6. In another skillet, sauté the onion in butter over low heat, stirring occasionally, until caramelized, 20–30 minutes. Crumble the Gorgonzola with a fork.
  7. Divide bacon, caramelized onions, and crumbled Gorgonzola among individual plates. Serve as a delicious topping for both sliders and mac and cheese.
