This side dish is so delicious, no one will guess you used canned baked beans. Place a can of baked beans in a saucepan, heat through, and add fresh mango salsa and a little chili for a stunning Caribbean flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (800 g) of baked beans
  • 1.5 cups (250 g) fresh mango salsa
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes

1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

  • Place baked beans in a small saucepan and heat over medium-high heat.

  • Cook, stirring frequently, until the liquid begins to simmer, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the mango salsa and chili flakes. Serve the beans warm.
