Cabbage rolls with beef - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 6 Savoy cabbage leaves
  • 250 g of salted dried beef (corned beef, basturma)
  • 2 slices rye bread
  • 1 teaspoon whole grain mustard
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley or dill
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Boil the cabbage leaves in boiling water for 2 minutes. Then rinse under cold water, pat dry, and cut in half.
  • Step 2
  • Mix mayonnaise with herbs and spread the mixture on cabbage leaves.

    Cut black bread into strips and place on top of the mayonnaise.

    Cut the beef into strips, mix with mustard and place on bread.
  • Step 3
  • Roll the cabbage leaves into rolls and cut into two parts.
