How to Make - Classic Ham Sandwiches

The secret of this multi-layered sandwich in using the finest ingredients: thick slices of good ham, whole-grain mustard with crispy grains, and thick homemade mayonnaise, the fattiness of which is offset by pieces of pickled vegetables with dill.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • Lightly toasted slices of white or black bread
  • Mayonnaise
  • Green salad leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Large slices of ham
  • Slices pickled cucumbers with dill
  • Slices of cheese Cheddar
  • Whole grain mustard

Recipe:


Spread mayonnaise on slices of bread. Top with a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, and a slice of ham. Top with a few slices of pickles and a slice of cheese. Spread mustard on the remaining slices of bread and top the sandwiches.
