Avocado slices make these classic bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwiches (BLTs) more nutritious and healthy. They're easy to make and perfect for a filling snack throughout the day. They're a great way to incorporate more vegetables into your diet. You can substitute regular lettuce or any salad greens you have on hand for the frisée.

- Heat a grill pan over high heat. Brush the baguette slices with olive oil and grill, cut side down, until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Rub the grilled sides with garlic.
- Rub the tomatoes onto the cut sides of the bottom halves of the bread until most of the juice has been absorbed, then top with the remaining tomatoes and season with salt and pepper.
- Place avocado slices on top of the tomatoes, then add the bacon and frisée. Top with the top halves of the bread.
