Guacamole is a dip, spread, or snack made from mashed avocado with lime juice and salt, along with tomatoes, cilantro, other vegetables, and seasonings. It was invented by the Aztecs and is now a staple of Mexican cuisine. Guacamole is traditionally eaten with chips, usually nachos, bread, or served as a dip with various dishes, especially Mexican ones. This dish is especially popular among vegetarians.
