One of the most famous dishes made with this fruit is guacamole—a traditional Mexican dip made with avocado, vegetables, and spices. This light and delicious guacamole salad is made with the same ingredients, but instead of pureeing the vegetables, simply dice avocado, yellow bell pepper, onion, and tomatoes, add canned beans, and drizzle with a flavorful dressing made with spices and lime juice. The beauty of guacamole lies in the contrasting textures of its ingredients: tender avocado, firm beans, and crunchy bell peppers complement each other harmoniously. You can serve it as a side dish with meat dishes or as a taco filling, wrapped in a tortilla.

3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.

1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.
Ingredients for the recipe:
- 425 gr. black beans
- 2 cups grape tomatoes, halved
- 1 yellow bell pepper, seeded and cut into 1.5cm cubes.
- 0.5 cup red onion, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped jalapeno peppers, seeded (2 pods)
- 0.5 tsp grated lime zest
- 1/4 cup lime juice (2 limes)
- 1/4 cup good olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 0.5 tsp ground black pepper
- 0.5 tsp chopped garlic
- 1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper
- 2 ripe avocados, pitted and peeled, cut into 1.5 cm cubes.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, yellow pepper, black beans, red onion, jalapeño, and lemon zest. Separately, whisk together the lime juice, olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic, and cayenne pepper. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss well.
- Stir the avocado into the salad before serving. Taste for salt and serve at room temperature.
